The Statutory records you must make publicly available.

The following is a list of records that must be maintained by a Limited Company and be made publicly available. The entire list is given for the sake of completeness. Many records will not be relevant to start-ups and Micro Companies.

The records can be kept at the Company’s Registered Office or at a SAIL (Single Alternative Inspection Location)

  • Register of Members/shareholders
  • Register of Directors
  • Directors’ service contracts
  • Register of Company Secretaries
  • Records of resolutions
  • Contracts relating to purchase of own shares
  • Documents relating to redemption or purchase of own shares out of capital by private company
  • Register of debenture holders
  • Report to members of outcome of investigation by public company into interests in its shares
  • Register of interests in shares disclosed to public company
  • Instruments creating charges and register of charges: England and Wales; and
  • Instruments creating charges and register of charges: Scotland

The Following list applies to Limited Liability Partnerships

  • Register of Members
